National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

Beth Hess - Wednesday, September 06, 2017
Suicide is the second-leading cause of death between the ages of 10 and 24. The suicide rate among older teenage girls hit a 40-year high in 2015, according to newly released data from the National Center for Health Statistics.

As part of National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, we’re sharing information and resources that you can explore and share.
Out of Darkness Walks are happening around the state to raise awareness and funds that allow the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy and support survivors of suicide loss. Find a walk in your community
