Beth Hess - Thursday, October 12, 2017
The Maryland Office of Appointments and Executive Nominations is inviting individuals to apply to serve on the State Board for the Certification of Residential Child Care Program Professionals. In particular, they are seeking caregivers of a child who has received residential treatment through the Maryland Department of Health, the Maryland State Department of Education, or the Department of Juvenile Services.

The Board certifies qualified Residential Child Care Program Administrators (RCCPAs) and Residential Child and Youth Care Practitioners (RCYCPs), and engages in a number of other functions. Click for further information on the Board or call Kim Bennardi at 410-767-4049.

Interested applicants must submit an online application through the Governor’s Appointments Office at http://govappointments.maryland/gov. The chosen candidate will be required to be approved by the Senate during the 2018 legislative session. Applications are due before November 20, 2017.

Meetings are held on the second Friday of each month from 9:30 to 10:30 am at 4201 Patterson Avenue, Baltimore.  A per diem of $50 per Board meeting is provided as compensation.
