About the Film: THE ANONYMOUS PEOPLE is a documentary film about the 23.5 million Americans living in long-term recovery from substance use to alcohol
and other drugs. Deep rooted social stigma and discrimination have kept recovery voices silent and faces hidden for many years. Social media and news
stations around the country have depicted people in active addiction and continued to perpetuate the dysfunctional side of what is a preventable and
treatable health condition. This moving story is told through the faces and voices of leaders, celebrities, and corporate executives. Its aim is to
transform public opinion. This passionate pubic recovery movement is changing conversation from problem to solutions.
