Kin Connections

This is a virtual support group offered to kinship caregivers across the state. It meets the 4th Tuesday of each month from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.

Join MCF’s Kinship Family Peer Support Specialist and other caregivers to learn strategies for kinship parenting, addressing the challenges and learning about the changing dynamics of kinship families. There will be opportunities to get support and work on strengthening the bonds of the growing family.

Life in Motion Support Group

This groups meets the 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.  For more information, please email Shelley Jones or call 443.472.9840.

This is a support group for those who have a loved one with substance use challenges.  Participants will learn strategies for self-care and ways to cope with stress, hear from others in similar situations and build a network of support.

The Self Expression Sessions

Meets every Wednesday, 5:00-6:30 PM.  Please note there will be no session in July or August.  The group will resume meeting Wednesday, September 13th!

Our Healing Hearts: Online Grief Support Group for Parents Who Have Lost a Child to Overdose

This is a support group for parents who have lost a child to overdose.  Losing a child to substance overdose is a unique and isolating situation. This grief support group meets monthly on Zoom and we welcome any parent coping with this heartbreaking trauma to join us.
